As a woman, I feel that this postcard sums up what is expected of me. We are expected to "just be perfect." I feel that women strive to meet an unrealistic ideal imposed on us by society and culture. Unfortunately, we are not sufficiently rewarded and appreciated for our efforts, no matter how hard we try to meet "perfection"- whatever that means.
Why has society put so much pressure on women to be perfect or do we do this to ourselves? Why can't we be happy with just being ourselves? Do men worry about being perfect?
